TUSK - bass
Born and raised on ships of the greatest Vykyng fleets, Tusk was cutting the throats of dastardly pirates
at the ripe age of 9. Looking for a change of pace, he decided to learn the great Kodo Horn (also
commonly referred to as the Tuba) at age 10. Disgusted with the noise this foul instrument produced,
he stumbled one day upon an instrument while invading the shores of Fiji, the Bass Guitar. At age 14,
he decided to learn to play it, and never looked back. That was, until he was forced to walk the plank
for causing a shipmate’s head to explode from playing one of his fundamentally low notes, the enigmatic
low B. 13 weeks passed as he swam the seas, until one day he washed ashore on an island. For many
years afterward, he studied various techniques and musical styles on this low sounding object, all the
while supporting himself by playing half-assed versions of Jimmy Buffet tunes on the docks for chunks
of boar meat and fine port. One day, a ship arrived and fear was instilled into the hearts of all. It was
the Vykyng ship Pinnacle, and they had come to invade Tusk’s land. Copious amounts of blood were
spilled that evening, and during the battle, Tusk relentlessly slew many of Vykyng, fueled with hatred
for his shipmates double-crossing him so many years ago. However, during the battle a spot of epiphany
was revealed. As Tusk engaged in battle with Magnus Magnusson, Magnus raised a brow to his aggressive
fighting style, and ability to fart on queue. Magnus stopped fighting and observed. Tusk, still fueled with
rage, turned from Magnus and cracked Jim Buffet himself in the head with his instrument. Tusk then
proceeded to yell “Buffet-Burgers in Paradise!” and feasted on his flesh. Immediately afterward, he
squatted down and defecated Kurt Kobain. Though Tusk had done this to show Magnus that he did
not know who he was messing with, confusion struck Tusk as he saw Magnus raise his arms in joy and
valor. Magnus asked Tusk to turn his back on this island called home (Puerto Rico) and join him on the
Vykyng ship, Pinnacle. Magnus knew that Tusk’s abilities were far greater than anyone could comprehend.
Tusk agreed without reserve, and set sail for the shores of Phoenix. Blood will be spilled again. Oh yes,
blood will be spilled.
